. . . took a walk
during what is undoubtedly the shortest 30-minute period of the day, my lunch break.
These pictures were taken within a one-block area of where I work.
IF weather ever improves, I hope to wander a bit further given the time limitation.
Most of these photos are of concrete, all enhanced with photo-editing software.
I like the random marks, as well as the textures.

Incredible photos. They are all so inspiring. The colors and marks are so exciting. You have such a good eye.
Mary! Your gorgeous paintings arrived today. I cannot express how much I enjoy them. They arrived just in time perfectly packaged although I think I owe you extra postage. Thank you so very much.

A short 30 minute break, yet you fit creativity right into the middle of your day! Good for you Mary!
Lovely pictures. Very good.
Good morning, Miki, and thanks for the comments.
Catherine, I'm happy you like your paintings. The postage is fine, don't think about it. Thank you again for your support. It means a lot.
Leslie, I will never forget our conversation about honoring one's art by making time to do it. I get itchy if I can't spend some time on it, so taking pictures of my surroundings is one way I do "honor my art." Thanks to you.
Martin, thank you.
Girl, you can make concrete look good! Wow.
I feel very much at home when I come for a visit. Your discoveries make my heart beat faster.
Thank you for sharing,
Egmont
