. . .finally took pictures

of some of the paintings I have done in the past couple of weeks. My camera was missing in action for a while . . .

These are all small "studies". . . playing around with paints, trying out new ideas. . .

These are some on which I have used quiet colors. . .

and not so much texture. . .

but still can't avoid the circles entirely.

I have made a "to-do" list to keep me on track today; otherwise I will just wander from one thing to the next without accomplishing anything. Check off "blog". . .

I like these - especially the one with the strips at the edge. I was missing you, and thinking of how, for most of a year, your blog was my first stop of the morning. That was when you challenged yourself to post daily. I have a to do list today as well. xxoo

Jazz, I know, me too. Maybe that's my project for this week. Make red, lots of red.

Nancy: Thank you. But do stop by more often.

Leslie: Yeah, I know, I did post every day. But I got to thinking that maybe I didn't have anything to say, you know. Anything of any interest, at least. Plus I got kind of paranoid about who was reading this blog and the info I was putting out in the world. Maybe TMI. You are such a faithful friend.

Thank you, Donna. A comment from you is always motivating.

And thanks, Miki. I appreciate your interest.
