. . . went dumpster-diving
All of these pictures have a common thread. . . the dumpster outside my place of work. The one above is of the inside. . .
and this one above is of the outside panel of said dumpster. . .
and this one is the edge of the building in which the dumpster is stored. The rust from #2 is probably the direct result of the numerous times the dumpster hit the spot in #3.

Do your new colleagues see you photographing the inside of dumpsters? LOL
These are yummy!
What fantastic 'found' abstracts, I am looking forward to seeing these worked up into a painting
I love these textures Mary. You never know what is waiting for you out in the world- you just have to keep your eyes open for opportunities.
I love the colors. How do you get them to look so bright? Its so wonderful to have you show us the beauty in something most people just see as gross and dirty. I probably have seen that dumpster a million times, but never really looked at it.
what a colorful dumpster you have-- hard to imagine this could be a source for paintings-- but I do see it that way
Wow, these are gorgeous! Blow them up and frame them just as they are! Interesting what can be beautiful when taken out of context.
Gorgeous! Playing catch-up here. You always inspire me.
